Dr King, Executive Director brings a depth of educational experience and expertise to Mission Educate. He is a widely respected educator and has been the founding principal of a Christian school in Sydney Australia for 12 years, served on the executive of a national school’s organisation and has been Chaplain of an independent Prep – Year 12 Christian school on the Gold Coast, Queensland for 12 years.
He has spoken at educational and leadership conferences in USA, UK, Australia and Mozambique. Dr Terry, as he is affectionately known in Mozambique has been involved with Mission Educate for over 10 years, initially as a board member and as Executive Director since 2011.
He holds a Doctorate in Education from University of New England in Armidale NSW as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
His passion is to facilitate the provision of education founded on Christian values in developing nations as a means of releasing people from the cycle of poverty that has engulfed them for generations. He is married to Judy, has 2 children and 2 grand daughters
Having grown up in Africa, Natalie feels passionate about providing education and opportunity to young people there. With varied multi-national accountancy and auditing experience in Africa and Europe, she handles our financial and statutory obligations.
Kaylene's background is in Youth & Community leadership, Resource development & Public Relations with an international Aid Agency. She has also been an assistant pastor and involved in the development of a World Vision team sponsorship program. She now works at Mission Educate as the Community Coordinator working on fundraising events, resource development & procurement as well as being the owner & operator of Rainforest Tours Australia, a Gold Coast company taking day hikes, retreats, team building & tours into the Lamington National Park. Kaylene enjoys hiking, training teams for Kokoda, photography, writing (has written 2 books) & music.
Lee has a background in corporate, not-for-profit, educational and ministry organisations. Graduating from Business College she has gone on to develop significant experience and skills in governance, organisational management and leadership.
She has held executive positions of school and church boards and a national educational organisation. Lee will take responsibility for many of the administrative and promotional tasks and will provide leadership of the Australian Office. She is married to Peter and they have 3 children and 3 grand daughters. Lee enjoys travel, snorkeling and good coffee.
Jess brings a depth of experience to Mission Educate by developing systems and tools that enhance creativity, security and solutions in the technology arena. Her visit to Mozambique in 2014 cemented her passion to not only help with technology but also to capture and share the stories of hope of the students and teachers of King of Kings school.
She is co-owner and Managing Director of Be IT Safe, a technology company that provides enterprise computing, web development, CRM/ERP and ICT for family and business. Jess has completed her Bachelor of Biblical Studies and enjoys camping, sport and speciality coffee.
Jill Lovell works with Mission Educate in Mozambique as the Project Director. Her role is to facilitate the development of new educational and vocational projects. Jill is a trained secondary Science & Mathematics teacher who is fluent in Portuguese. She has more than 8 years experience in leading not-for-profit development work in Mozambique.
I am Alford Ncube. I was born on the 27th of November 1975 in Mberengwa, Zimbabwe. I grew up in Zimbabwe where I did my primary and secondary education. In 1997 started living in Beira, Mozambique where I did my training as a teacher. I then did my Honours Degree in Education with the Pedagogic University in Beira. I am an English teacher and I have been working as a teacher for the past 17 years.
In 2001, I started working for Mission Educate as a school principal at Rei dos Reis school. It was a good opportunity the Lord gave me to be part of this good Christian organisation. My responsibility is to safeguard the vision of the organisation and also to ensure correct implementation of the strategic plans so that we come up with the desired results. I have seen the school grow from one level to the other year by year and I thank God for the Australian team which is always there to help us through all the challenges. Today when people talk of good schools in Beira, ours is also counted.
I am married to Silvia Hove and we have 4 four children, that is 2 boys and 2 girls. I worship at the Apostolic Faith Mission Church where I serve as the Vice Pastor. I like preaching the word of God and on my free time I watch and play football.
I was born in the district of Cheringoma in Sofala Province, Mozambique on the 27th of October 1979. I have 5 sisters and I am the only man. We then moved to Dondo where I grew up and I did my primary and secondary education from 1988. In 2001 to 2006, I did my Bachelor degree in Education at the Pedagogic University in Beira. I also got a certificate in Theology from CETEO Brazil and I am currently doing a Degree through distance education. I am also doing my Masters Degree in Human Resources.
In 2009 I got married to Cristiane Alves Cajaiba and we have two daughters. I have been a teacher for 8 years and I am also a Pastor with the Assemblies of God (Missions). In 2013, I started working with Rei dos Reis school as a Chaplain. I help students and the staff to understand the Word of God through Bible lessons and chapels. My responsibilities in the school have helped me grow in all aspects. I am learning a lot through my work in this school.
I was born on the 18th of February 1966 in Nicoadala, Zambezia province in Mozambique.I did my primary and secondary education in Quelimane I am married with 6 children and I live in Beira with my family. I trained as a Maths teacher in 1986 and I have been teaching maths since then. In 2005, I finished my Honors degree in Psychology with the Pedagogic University here in Beira.
Since last year, I am the Head of secondary at Rei Dos Reis school. My role is to supervise teachers and students to make sure they do the right thing at the right time so that we achieve good results. It's so good to work at this school and day by day I am growing personally and spiritually. I am a Christian and on my spare time I like reading and watching football.
I was born on the 2nd of January 1960 in Buzi, Sofala province in Mozambique. I am married and I have 7 children and 7 grandchildren. I started my primary education in 1971 in Buzi and in 1979 I did a teaching course in Beira. This year, I am doing my last year at the University doing my Bachelor degree in Education (Biology and Chemistry).
I have been teaching since 1979 and I have been working for the Ministry of Education for 36 years and now I am the Head of primary at Rei dos Reis school. For the past 11 years I have been working at this School. I help to guarantee quality education by helping teachers and students. I am happy to be part of this growing school. I like playing musical instruments, singing and dancing.
My name is Catarina da Cruz Dias, I am married and I am from Maputo Province, Namaacha district in Mozambique. I have four children, three boys and a girl. On Academic qualifications, I am a year 12 graduate and next year I want to be in University. I have a lot of work experience in the secretarial department from different companies in accounting and logistics. At Mission Educate I do a bit of everything from accounting, control of incoming and outgoing documents, payment of salaries, deposits and withdrawals of finances.
I like to work at home as a housewife taking care of my children as well as in my work, I like to share ideas with others, meet other people, I like praying and hearing the Word of the Lord. My church is African Assemblies of God, I am a deacon, in my free time I like going to the beach and traveling. Finally, I praise God to be working in this Organisation (Mission Educate) it has helped me a lot in my spiritual life, I learned a lot in the seminars we have had annually, my life has changed a lot in some social aspect’s as well as at work, I feel happy here.
